New Collaborative School-Home Training Opportunity

HANDS in Autism®, through support from a CARES Set-Aside Direct Grant funding, has launched the School-Home Collaborative Network Initiative. This project is designed to enable the adaptation and delivery of training and support for both school personnel and family caregivers in order to meet particular needs in response to COVID-19, as well as continuous learning needs.

HANDS is providing training to teachers to better support and work with parent/caregivers—and training for parents/caregivers on foundational educational and behavioral strategies to better support teacher instruction. Additional support is available to educators and families regarding tips for home learning in our online publication, HANDS in Autism® COVID-19 Starter Kit for Special Education, Families and Educators.
