Join HANDS in Autism® at the Southeast Regional Autism Local Community Cadres (LCCs) Summit. By taking part in the process of reassessing, reframing, and realigning the LCC, you can show your support for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
WHAT: The LCCs have been a statewide presence since 2010, serving as a valuable platform to Indiana’s support framework for individuals with ASD and their families. To strengthen and further enhance the LCCs, we are hosting the Northeast Regional Autism LCC Summit 2019.
This Summit is necessary to expand, enrich, and realign the LCC with other local and statewide ASD initiatives. This action-oriented day of collaborating, informing, networking and problem solving will enable stakeholders in the region to impact and influence ASD-specific needs in various ways—including the identification of current, locally relevant challenges and how to address them.
Collective input and data collected at the Regional LCC Summit will support future assessment and re-framing efforts towards next steps in the Northeast Region LCC, as well as the other LCC regions and statewide networks.
WHO: You! We need a range of passionate stakeholders willing to collaborate and contribute to the overall well-being of individuals with ASD and their families—the principal mission of this local initiative. The Southeast Region LCC makes up individuals in Monroe, Brown, Bartholomew, Decatur, Lawrence, Jackson, Jennings, Ripley, Dearborn, Ohio, Switzerland, Jefferson, Scott, Washington, Clark, Floyd, Orange, Crawford, and Harrison counties.
